ISurGlide® Plus Hydrophilic Coatings

Improved Lubricity, No Primer Needed

ISurGlide Plus is our lubricious hydrophilic coating that eliminates the need for a primer or extensive surface preparation, and, in many instances, will improve lubricity. Elimination of the priming step simplifies the manufacturing process, saving your company time and money. ISurGlide Plus is applied with the same coating and UV cure process as our ISurGlide family of coatings so if you’re currently using a UV cured hydrophilic coating so no need to change your existing setup!

ISurGlide Plus can be used on the following substrates:

  • Polyurethane

  • Polypropylene

  • PVC

  • PEBAX

    (All durometers)

  • HDPE/LDPE

  • Nylon

  • PEEK

Improved Lubricity

ISurGlide Plus has equivalent or better lubricity than traditional ISurGlide. You can expect a Coefficient of Friction of 0.02 – 0.03 for most applications.

Durability

ISurGlide Plus has excellent durability and is able to withstand many multiple cycles of industry standard friction testing.
